• Lima

  Lima is the capital and largest city in Peru. It is located on coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean and in the valleys of the Chillón, Rímec and Lurín river. Lima was found by Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizzaro in 1535. First name of the city was the City of King. Independence in 1821, was made the capital of the Republic of Peru.  In 1988 was Historical Centre of Lima listed on World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
